And so the stunning Tulip flower display has come to an end and now its harvest time. I leave Dominic to do the hard graft of digging up the bulbs and wheelbarrowing the produce back to house, whilst I set up the work station (few cushions here and a few buckets there - phew) Georgia is proving to be a dab hand at harvesting the bulbs but as expected her attention span is limited. Every little bit helps. We have even had a neighbour or two pop in for a helping hand (and a free coffee). Only 20 more tulip bed to go..... and once the summer is over it will be back to harvesting Lillies, Cala Lillies, Crocus..... Shall not mention the re-planting of the baby bulbs before the end of November.
My house is overrun with drying bulbs.
